      Hi everyone,

I’m relatively new to Don’t Starve Together and recently made it to my first winter! 🎉 However, I’m finding it incredibly challenging to survive. Between the freezing temperatures, lack of food, and those terrifying Deerclops attacks, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed.

I’ve managed to stockpile some food, but it doesn’t seem like enough to last the whole season. I also crafted a Thermal Stone and have a decent base near a Beefalo herd, but I feel like I’m missing some key strategies.

Does anyone have tips for surviving winter in DST? How do you balance exploring with staying safe? Also, what’s the best way to deal with the Deerclops without losing my base or dying?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Congrats on making it to your first winter! 🎉 That’s a big step in Don’t Starve Together. Winter can definitely be overwhelming, but with some solid strategies, you’ll get through it. Here are a few tips to help you out:

        • Keep your Thermal Stone hot by leaving it near a fire before heading out. Pair it with a Winter Hat or Beefalo Hat for extra warmth.
        • Spiders: Monster meat can be turned into meatballs with a Crock Pot (combine 1 monster meat with 3 filler like berries or ice). Ice is super useful as a filler!

        • Use long evenings to craft, organize your supplies, and cook food.
