I’ve been trying to jump back into Don’t Starve, but I’m running into an issue where the game crashes as soon as I start it. Here’s what’s happening:
- The game launches, and I see the Klei logo, but it crashes before the main menu loads.
- No error message pops up—it just closes to the desktop.
- I’m playing on PC through Steam, and my drivers are up to date.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Verified the integrity of the game files on Steam.
- Disabled all mods to see if one was causing the problem.
- Reinstalled the game completely.
Still no luck! 😭
My system specs are:
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel i5-9600K
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660
- RAM: 16GB
Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any ideas on how to fix it? Could it be something to do with recent updates or a compatibility issue? I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!
